Open-source licenses

RetroHub 0.1.0

RetroHub is built with free software written by other people. This page credits it and tells you where to find the license and the source code of each component, as those licenses require.

Browser player and emulators

These components are not part of what RetroHub sells. They are downloaded from the public npm registry to your computer during setup, unchanged, and each one stays under its own license. Most emulators carry their license text inside their own package, and the player's license is saved next to it in the RetroHub folder.

Each link leads to the source code repository of that component. If you cannot reach it, write to and we will send it to you.

Libraries inside RetroHub

The RetroHub program itself includes open-source libraries, most of them under the MIT, ISC, Apache-2.0 or BSD licenses. The full list, with every copyright notice and license text, is in the file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt that comes with RetroHub.

Fonts

This site is set in Geist and Geist Mono, and the RetroHub interface in Inter. All three are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Game names and box art

Console names, game titles and box art are the property of their owners and are not covered by any of the licenses above.
